Description
This Ex-Demonstration Sarabec PL51 PhonePlus in line telephone handset amplifier. A useful product to substantially boost the listening volume of your existing telephone. Ideal for those who find their telephone not as loud as it used to be!
The PhonePlus PL51 has two added features above the previous PL50 model.

This battery powered unit is only for use with telephones with a detachable handset using a 4 pin modular (RG-10) connector.
The PhonePlus has volume and tone controls with a longer physical slide movement than the CLA40V which makes adjustment easier and the changes appear more gradual.
Please note: if you try to use the Sarabec PhonePlus
to amplify an already amplified telephone you will get
problems with feedback from the handset.

n.b. The Sarabec PhonePlus Telephone amp has a headphone socket which is very slightly recessed. As a result the plug that comes with the Multiturn plastic neck loop won't stay in the socket properly and will only work if you hold it in. However, there is an alternative patch cord FMG42800 that does work properly. Anyone ordering the neck loop for use with the amplifier needs to order the additional patch cord as well.
